Hate N Candy Films was started on March 18, 2006 by Kataya (AKA Katherine), one cold and lonely night with out anything else better to do. She strived to make Geocities work for her and in the end she dominated the unruly program.
In its short history, Hate N Candy Films has become known to many in Kataya's school. The first public showing in her simple Biology 2 class of the premier of “Retard with a Camera”. Since then many of the other teachers at her school have taken to playing her videos in study halls, as often requested by students. Just one year later, Hate N Candy undertook the making of the 2007 Class video to show at senior assembly, where half the school attended as well as Graduation. Many think it to be the best Graduation video In YCS History. (take that 06!)
November 26th 2006, Llie, also called Callie, friend of Kataya of 14 years and fellow director was signed onto Hate N Candy. Her Debut (with the movie "A Stroll") on the HNC website came in December 22th.
Llie can be seen in some of Kataya's movies such as "Dodge of the Retards" doing some bit camera work and "The Wrath of Grendel" in which she appeared many times and even narrated.
HateNCandy's biggest project yet came around Easter of 2007. "Resurrection," A joint effort of Kataya, Llie, With Blue Channel operated by Sarah was a big hit. Half movie, have stage play, "Resurrection" turned out to be a smash hit and the biggest HateNCandy project to date.
HNC Has a bright future and we hope to keep making movies for years to come.
