Kittie_Concert_Review
Background -  Kittie lunched a club tour as the first round of support for their new album "Oracle". They got Mind war Symphony, Ill Nineo, and Dry Kill Logic as support.

The House of Blues is in the heart of downtown Chicago, Near the river. It was a cool night. Parking was fucking $16. Evey Goth in Chicago was there or at the Slayer show. The doors opened late and when I got in, the first band was playing. They were Mind War Symphony, and they sucked. They were soft rock and almost blues. Next was Ill Nineo. They were nothing great. Better than some of the Nu' Metal shit I have seen at other shows. After them was Dry Kill Logic. they were good but I would not bother to get their cd. I liked their Metal cover of Spice girls "Wannabe". Then, After a long intermission, Kittie Came on. They put all the male bands on the line-up to shame. They rocked hard and took almost no breaks. They seemed to play mostly things of their first album but covered alot of ground from both. Kittie looked cool onstage. However, Bassist Talena Atfield looked half asleep on stage. Also, After guitarist Fallon Bowman left, They got their Guitar Tech To fill in live. A 40 something man with a beard looked out of place onstage with 3 teenage girls. Overall, The show was great. The House of Blues looked cool inside, and you could feal the floor shake when the crowd got going. T-shirts were priced great (only $10 - $15) and they had CD's for only $10. Before the show, Kittie held an In-Store. Saddly, I was not able to go cause I did not have the time cause it was out of the way in rush hour trafic. Maybe next time.
