Guarantee

All Items covered under this guarantee are by REPLACEMENT ONLY.  We do not give refunds.  Any expenses incurred on any returned dog or pup and the replacement animal are the responsibility of of the purchaser.

All pups have received proper vaccinations and worming to date. All shipped pups are examined for health by our veterinarian and will have a health certificate.  Pups must be examined by the purchaser's veterinarian within 10 days.  If we do not hear from you within 10 days we assume that you are satisfied and that the pup is in good health.

I.    Hip Dysplasia        Any animal purchased from Hasty Labs must be x-rayed by 26 months Animals under 26 months are covered.

    A.    X-ray must be sent to OFA for evaluation

    B.    Any animal with  a mild dysplasia rating must be returned to Hasty Labs in order to qualify    for a replacement.

    C.    Animals with more severe dysplasia may be treated as follows:

            1)    Animal may be euthanized with the agreement of Hasty Labs and a letter sent to that effect by a vet.

            2)    Animal may be sterilized and a letter to that effect sent to Hasty Labs by a vet. That animal may be placed in a pet home.  Hasty Labs must be sent a letter, signed by the new owner of the dog, stating that they were given the dog at no charge, that they understand the dog's problem, and that the dog will not be used for hunting.  If the dog is kept by the owner, said owner will send Hasty Labs a letter stating that the dog will not be used for hunting.

            3)    If the owner wishes to keep the dog and use it as a gundog, the dog must be sterilized.  Using the original dog as a gundog disqualifies the owner for a replacement at no charge.  The owner may then purchases another pup out of a mutually agreed upon litter for half the price of the second pup.

            4)    If the owner decides to sell the dog as a functional gundog, the owner is not eligible for a replacement or a half-price pup.

            5)    If after discovering a hip problem, the owner wishes to retain the dog and run it in any test or competition, the owner then waives any right to a replacement animal.

    D.    Returned Animals     The animal must be returned to Hasty Labs in good condition, (other than the specified problem) at the owner's expense.  The owner will then qualify for a replacement pup. Shipping charges on any replacement pup are the responsibility of the original owner.

II.    Hereditary Eye Problems    Animals showing hereditary eye defects will be replaced as follows:    

        A.    Animals must be examined within 3 years.  No animal over 3 is covered.

        B.    Animals must be examined by a certified veterinary ophthalmologist and the result of the exam sent to Hasty Labs.    The ophthalmologist must state that the defect is definitely of hereditary nature and not caused by injury or illness.

        C.    The defective animal is to be returned to Hasty Labs, or may be euthanized  with the with the permission of Hasty Labs.  Proof of euthanasia must be provided.  Shipping expenses are to be paid by puchaser.

III.    Physical Defects    Animals showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:   

        A.    Animal must show defect within by 12 months and must be examined by a vet.  Hasty Labs must be notified immediately at the onset of the problem in writing, and must include a letter from the vet.

        B.    Any animal which is used for breeding purposes prior to notifying Hasty Labs of any of the previously covered defects is not guaranteed.

IV.    This guarantee applies to the original owner of the animal named in the guarantee only. The guarantee does not apply if the animal is sold or transferred to another without the written permission of Hast Labs to the transfer.

VI.    Replacement will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable bloodlines.

Any animal which is euthanized without the knowledge and permission of Hasty Labs will not be covered under this guarantee.    

This guarantee does not apply unless the puppy purchaser provides Hasty Labs with a signed copy of said agreement.

Any Hasty Lab bred and sold pup which lacks retrieving instinct, refuses to retrieve on land or water, is un-trainable, or shows unstable or vicious temperament, or is unwilling to work or hunt due to physical or genetic defects, will be replaced as per our guarantee - upon the return of the original animal.  All shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

PLEASE NOTE:    The previous part of the Hasty Lab guarantee is only applicable if Hasty Labs is notified of any problems by the original animal's FIRST BIRTH DATE.  Hip and eyes are covered for the first 26 months.
