"Life is good for only two things, discovering mathematics and teaching mathematics," said Poisson Siméon.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Jasmine.
I was born in a country where Mathematics and Science are the major subjects in school.

Next to my home was the building of the Extended Math and Science High School for Gifted Students.

I still remember my happiness when I passed the admission exam and found my name in the list of the accepted students.

My discovery of Mathematics that sharpens the brain and requires a great amount of imagination had started.

I met my extraordinary Math teacher who not only developed our ( his students ) mathematical minds and demonstrated the beauty of Math, but also, and the most importantly, trained our spirit, courage and passion to think and concentrate deeply on everything we do.

I think that I have taken his ideas of teaching in my practice as a math teacher.

Graduated with Honor I worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Applied Mathematics
and as a Math teacher at a gifted kids school.

When professors or classmates told me that they like my intelligence I always thought that it is a merit of my wonderful Math teacher.

Now, in Canada, I am a High School Math teacher at Birmingham International College : http://www.bicc-edu.com/ .

This College is an accredited, multi-cultural, university preparatory school that offers high school credits.

Also I worked at "The Academy for Math and Science", "Champs" and "Mr.MAth" other learning centers.

I always liked teaching and the opportunity to help others to overcome difficulties in studying was my greatest joy.

Therefore I am very familiar with new and old curriculums.

Also I study at the University of Toronto, currently finishing Masters' degree in Mathematics.

My easygoing and open nature allows me to establish good relationship with all of my students, which I consider very important. Together we always achieve better results in grades.
