The Booth Brothers
A Note From Haskell A very interesting and enjoyable night for me was October 22, 2005. The Booth Brothers sang in McPherson, Kansas. Jolee and I went because we like them and their singing. What a trio! During the second half of their program, I was invited to the stage to play for them. Ronnie Booth said, Lets have some fun. This was unrehearsed. A big, long, grand piano was pushed out on the stage from behind the curtains. They gathered around the piano and I said lets do Ill Fly Away and What A Day That Will Be. Im surely glad they knew those songs. When we finished, we received a standing ovation. Thanks Ronnie, Michael, and Jim Brady for letting me have fun with you. If you have a chance to hear the Booth Brothers, do so. I had met their Dad, Ron Booth, Sr., many years ago when I was with the Cathedrals and Ron was with The Toney Brothers.

During the program, Michael mentioned that Haskell was in the audience. He said he had never met him so he jumped off the stage and came to Haskell to meet him.
During the second half of the concert The Booth Brothers asked Haskell if he would play the piano for them on a couple of songs. This is a picture of them discussing the arrangement for the songs.
