herePsalm 5, 2-13
Ant. 1
Ordinary:
To you I pray, Lord; in the morning you hear my voice.Christmas-tide:
Tell us, oh shepherds, whom have you seen, who has appeared on earth? We have seen the Lord who has been born, and the hosts of angels praising him, Alleluia.Easter Octave:
Christ has risen from the dead and has enlightened his people, whom he has redeemed with his blood, halleluia.Easter-tide:
They shall be happy with you those who love your name, halleluia.Give ear to my words, Lord;
Give heed to my sighing.
Listen to the sound of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to you I pray.
Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
In the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.
For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;
Evil will not sojourn with you.
The boastful will not stand before your eyes;
You hate all evildoers.
You destroy those who speak lies.
The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful.
Yet through the abundance of your steadfast love,
I will enter your house and bow down
Toward your holy temple in awe of you.
Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies;
Do make straight your way before me.
For there is no truth in their mouths;
Their hearts are destruction;
Their throats are open graves;
They flatter with their tongues.
Let all, yet, who take refuge in you rejoice;
Let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
So that those who love your name may exult in you.
For you bless the righteous, Lord;
You cover them with favor as with a shield.

In your hand are power and might;
And it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
And now, our God, to you we give thanks

2 Th 3, 10-13
If any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Such persons we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that with quietness, they work and eat their own bread. Yet as for you, brethren, do not be weary in well doing.
