This is a page about cool HTML stuff, moslty the HTML things I have on my page, but maybe others. I am going to put up a lot of HTML stuff that you can copy and put onto your websites, if you have one.

1. <applet codebase="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/" code="Lake.class" border="10" width="445" height="370" style="border-style: solid; border-width: 0px" align="middle"> <param name="image" value="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/imagename.jpg"></applet>

To get a picture like the one I have on the front page with the reflection, just download this, lake.class, and put it on your page. Put the above HTML code onto your page and put in the picture of your choice where it says "imagename.jpg", and you might have to mess with the width and height numbers a little bit to make it fit your picture. It is just trial and error, but I got it right the first time I tried to fix it.

2.

<XMP>

Just put

<XMP> around any HTML code and it will show up with the HTML code revealed like that, so people can easily copy it. You have to close the tag, but for some reason I can't get the last tag with the "/" to show up.

3.<script language="JavaScript"><!-- function makeArray(n) { this.length = n; for (i=0; i<n; i++) this[i]=""; } stcnt = 16; msg = "THE MESSAGE YOU WANT TO USE"; wmsg = new makeArray(32); wmsg[0]=msg; blnk =" "; for (i=1; i<32; i++) { b = blnk.substring(0,i); for (j=0; j<msg.length; j++) wmsg[i]=wmsg[i]+msg.charAt(j)+b; } function wiper() { if (stcnt > -1) str = wmsg[stcnt]; else str = wmsg[0]; if (stcnt-- < -40) stcnt=31; window.status = str; timeID = window.setTimeout("wiper()",100); } // --></script>

To get the words down on the bottom of the screen, where it usually tell you how far along the page is loading, just copy the above code, and put your message where it says "THE MESSAGE YOU WANT TO USE". Its just that simple.

4.<META http-equiv="Page-Enter" CONTENT="RevealTrans(Duration=4,Transition=3)">

To get the circle to reveal the page you choose from the previouis page, like it did for this page, copy the above code and put it on your page. You don't have to change anything for this one. There are a lot more different affects you could have instead of just a circle revealing your page, but I'm not going to list all of them.

5. <center><h1><span id="typing" style="visibility:hidden" align="left"> THE TEXT YOU WANT TO APPEAR</span></h1></center>

To get the words that I had "appear out of nowhere" that said "WELCOME TO HAVEST MOON VALLEY!", just cody the code above and type in the text you want to use where it says "THE TEXT YOU WANT TO APPEAR".

6.<table border="2" cellspacing="1" bordercolordark="black" bordercolorlight="black"> <tr> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/animal.html">Animals</a></td> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/berries.html">Berries</a></td> </tr> <tr> <center> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/table.html">Crops</a></td> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/items.html">Items</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/people.html">HM 64 People</td> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/photo.html">Photos</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/tools.html">Tools</a></td> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/codes.html">GameShark Codes</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/recipe.html">Recipes</a></td> <td><a href="award.html">My Award</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="winners.html">Award Winners</a></td> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/nintendodolphinboy">My Other Site</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/games.html">Games</a></td> <td><a href="mailto:clouddbzvii@aol.com">E-Mail me</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="html.html">HTML stuff</a></td> <td><a href="link.html">Links</a></td> </tr> </table>

To get a table, like the one use probably used to find this Section of my website, that had things such as "Animals", "Berries", and "HTML stuff" on it, just copy the above table. You can change it as much as you like from the colors of the table, located near the top of the HTML code, to the links, in the body of the HTML code. If you know how to make a website, you should be able to change this table to what you want without too much trouble. If you do need help with it though, just Email me. You can delete or add a whole line, which would be the pair of links that have the "tr" and "/tr" around them. It is best if you have an even number of links, so your table doesn't have any empty spaces in it.

7.<IFRAME NAME="floater" SRC="http://www.geocities.com/harvestmoonvalley/something.html" WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="200" FRAMEBORDER="0"> </IFRAME>

This code will put a box on your page, that is really a whole different page itself. Just put in the pageyouwant.html where it says "somthing.html", and you will have a little box like I do.
