We have introduced for our Senior Citizens a facility to live the rest of their God given life in a peaceable and enjoyable way. They need all our support and our help as they have lived a life in a faithful manner and have been an asset to our Country and to the Community as well. They have done more than enough; now it is our turn to do some thing for them. What we can do is to give them time for themselves and also to give them our listening ears; to hear them speak of their experiences as well as their past. We can make their remaining moments on Earth, enjoyable and a pleasant one.
The Ministry through the project - Home Within the Home has introduced specially for the Senior Citizens a Home for the Aged, at GRACE COTTAGE. We can accomplish this for them, if we work as a team and as one unit with compassion and not pity for the lonely and silent sufferers from our Community. This is a Challenge for us to accept it as A Mission To Serve.
Purpose: To provide food, care and accommodation for men and women 65 years and above. Special consideration for age will be given to the needy.
Motive: The old and weak have been deprived of Love, Care, Affection, Protection, and have been left to lead a very lonely life. They have no one to share the past life nor do they have even their younger generation to look after them. They have been left to themselves and in their own quiet world, slowly to meet their end. THEY HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN EVEN BEFORE THEY HAVE GONE TO THEIR HEAVENLY ABODE
Vision: We want to give the Senior Citizens a home they can call their own.
