I love playing tennis ... but my improvements are very very slow. Actually, my skills have been deteriorating recently. I have to finish my PhD degree and that has a priority!.I regularly hit with another Japanese guy, GTA (a tennis fanatic) and you can find his web page from here (GTA's Page). He is teaching at the ANU. We have regular tennis session with our friends on Saturdays.

I pariticularly like Andre Agassi and Guga Kuerten as tennis players. I also like Marat Safin, Scud Philippousssis, and Juan Carlos Ferrero. I am also a big fun of Pat Rafter and it is pitty that he has retired.

Unfortunately, I am considered as BLT (bad luck tipper) or TOD (touch of death) by some of my friends but I am not a BLT or TOD!!! My predictions of the grand slam titles have been as reliable as the CIA reports of Iraq's Weapon of Mass Destruction!.

Andre Agassi

He has achieved all his potentials and is still capable to take major titles in his 30s. He is the most amazing guy in the circuit. I would love to have his hand and eye coordination. (26/5/02)
Guga (Gustavo) Kuerten

He is one of the nicest guys in the tour. I am a double backhander but admire his super sigle backhand. He has been remarkable on clay, but Ferrero is challenging the title of "Clay Court King" soon. 26/5/02
Scud: Mark Philippoussis

With a little bit more brain and consistency, he can conquer any tilte. His service is so bueautiful and powerful.  He has just recovered from injury, bu have not returned to his peak days yet. 26/5/02
Marat Safin

He has matured a bit (He is not crushing his racket recently). After taking the US open title he has not got a major because of injury. He lost his final match at the Australian Open 2002. He may get another title this year (Wimbledon or US Open) but need to beat a few rivals. 26/5/02
Pat Rafter (retired)

My net paly is almost like a bad dream ... I wish I could have the volley technique of Pat! He is a gentleman on the court (real "SAMURAI"). Unfortunately, he has retired last year (2001). Pat, come back! 26/5/02
Juan Carlos Ferrero

Daniela Hantuchova

I was a fun of Anna but was disappointed to see her losing interests to win singles matches (she is still an excellent doubles palyer). Now, we have a great and elegant palyer called Daniela Hantuchova. She is not only cute but also will be top the 10 or even the top 5 girls of the WTA tour soon! 7/7/02
Justine Henin
