Overview

Like many of you, I'm a big fan of this team. Many of these kids are in similar age-group as myself. I cover them because I want to see what they can do for U.S. soccer. 

To compete at the World Cup, we need stars of tomorrow at their best. I believed this group is the best we got so far. Let's be realistic, our 'old' players are not getting the job done and the best they're can do are qualify for the World Cup.

With this group already reached the semi-final of 1999 FIFA Youth World Cup Championship, they should become better as the time grow. The U.S. federation spent more than one million dollars on this team, they should compete like millionaire stars. 

I see everything like 'investment'. Like the stock market, they have IPOs and Blue Chips. Well, the veterans of U.S. Soccer are Blue Chips (maybe not) while IPOs are the U-17 Central gang. Yeah, IPOs are gamble picks, but hey, we gotta take risk sometimes. Let's hope they become the next 'Microsoft' of soccer.
