Harry was fully dressed and sitting in the sixth floor waiting room when Bob and Diane arrived. He couldnt remember the last time he had been so relieved to see anyone in his life. Papers were signed, stamped and processed, and he was free, so to speak. They entered the elevator and began their descent. Suddenly, a loud rumbling filled the air.

Sorry, I guess Im really hungry, Diane said, embarrassed.

You know, I havent eaten all day, either, Bob gracefully rescued her. How about if we all take a side trip to a wonderful restaurant I know?

Im sure the two of you have a lot of catching up to do, Diane suggested, Perhaps I should just go on home right now.

No! Bob and Harry said at once, then stared at one another for a moment.

Okay, consider my arm twisted, Diane laughed.

Bobs favorite restaurant was California Dreamin, a health food joint over on Seventh Avenue. There were fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, smoothies and tofu on the menu. No meat. No booze. Bob the bodybuilder liked to eat very healthy vegetarian fare. Harry doubted he would survive the shock to his system so soon after his life-changing incarceration.

Hi, Bob, the waitress, Tiffany, flirted with every muscle in her taught 22-year-old body. Harry noticed that Diane looked a little miffed. Bob flirted right back.

Hows my favorite aspiring actress today? Did you bring me your autographed picture?

Yes, I have it right here. Its in an envelope because this is my private version, the one I use for naughty films. What are you going to do with it?

Well, of course Ill frame it and put it right by my pillow where I can see it last thing every night and first thing every morning.

Tiffany giggled as she handed him the manila envelope. Harry thought it looked thicker and heavier than an envelope with a picture would normally be. Bob squeezed the envelope and looked up at her curiously.

Oh, I put a piece of cardboard in there to keep it from getting wrinkled, Tiffany explained. I know how you feel about wrinkles She smiled slyly at Bob. Bob returned the smile, and gave her a wink. She answered with another giggle. She took their orders, and skipped off to the kitchen.

Was I ever that cheerful and bouncy? Diane wondered aloud.

I doubt it, Harry responded darkly before he could catch himself. Damn his big mouth.
