A small village located at the bank of Sind River in District Swabi, N-W.F.P. Gar Munara is situated at the South East of District Swabi. The language of the its residents is Pashto. The main profission of the people is jobs such as Army, Teaching, Police etc. A number of people are farmers.

    River sind, situated at the south of the village, is a picnic point for the people of the whole District.Groups of people come to the river to enjoy the healthful atmosphere of this point. There are two Play grounds for youth.

    In Gar Munara, there are two Boys Primary Schools, one Girls High School and one Boys High School. The village is linked by a single road to Marghuz, another village of Swabi District.
