In the first Spring when you pass the Yodel Ranch, Barley and May will be looking at a pony. They say they can't give it the attention it needs to grow up so they let you take care of it. After a year Barley will visit the horse. If it is happy, he will let you keep it. If it is sad, he will take it away. The only way to get another horse is to plant a huge pasture.

When you buy a chicken from the Poultry Farm, will start laying eggs once you get her hearts up. All you have to do to take care of it is to feed it chicken feed everyday. When your cow has a high affection level, you can enter her in the Cow Festival. If your cow does win it'll give off Milk G (Gold Milk).

During Spring before 9 a.m., go to the docks and talk to Greg. He will give you the Fishing Rod. You can catch fish from the Stream, Lake, and Ocean and put them in your fish pond. No matter how many fish you have, you only need to feed them one bag a day. If you don't feed them, they won't spawn. once you have 50 fish, Greg will come to your farm and give you the Fishing Pole. With the Fishing Pole, you can catch fish easily and you can catch the legendary fish. When you catch a legendary fish, you can't keep it but you will get a print that is shown on your status screen. You need all 6 prints to get a 100%.
