It's depressing reading the news. It's especially depressing if you know how to read between the lines. In the obits a 42-year-old man from Carbon Hill died of AIDS. He left his boyfriend behind. It's not worded so overtly, using words such as "illness" and "very special friend" but it's there if you look. I'm sad now, we're losing so many good people to this. It makes me sick to even think about it. I intend to start getting tested regularly, even though I'm not doing anything at the moment that puts me at greater risk. Of course, I join many others in blaming Republicans. If Reagan had gotten off his ass long enough to do something, people could've been educated about it earlier and it wouldn't have become quite so widespread in America. If the damn Vatican would start placing the health and wellbeing of the people of Africa above its own anti-sex agenda it wouldn't be so widespread. Reagan and John Paul II are of the same sourse, do not doubt. They share an agenda of subjugating the masses to support their own lifestyles. It's a very Republican way of life. And it kills. |
