After much thought and research, we decided to breed Miniature Rat Terriers. This variety stands 13 inches or less at the shoulders. We look for the best in temperment, health and comformation, with the goal to improve the breed.
We will have planned litters one or two times a year. All of our dogs are pets first and live along side us in our home. Our puppies are raised in our house with constant care, lots of attention and raised with kids. They also get to experience other dogs and also our house cat. We register with the United Kennel Club (UKC). And with AKC-FSS.
As of 7/7/08 we have closed our hobby of showing and raising rat terriers. We still have our females. All are spayed and are still our house pets - they probably do not miss the show ring as we still take them places like the park or camping as often as possible. Our male, Blue Bayou, has found a better home with a nice woman who needs his company more than we did. |
