Delma and Joyce Allison

Delma and Joyce Allison were married April 29, 1950. They live on Lake Lanier near Gainesville. They started dancing in 1954 and Delma began calling in 1957. Delma served as a part-time guest caller for the HAPPY SQUARES in 1968. Delma and Joyce taught a round dance class for the HAPPY SQUARES in the spring of 1974. After graduation, the class formed a round dance club known as the Roundabouts and Delma cued rounds for HAPPY SQUARES. In September of 1975 he became the HAPPY SQUARES club caller. Later Joyce took over cueing rounds.

Delma Instructs classes for each of his clubs and Joyce holds classes for round dancing. He is an accredited member of Callerlab (the International Association of Square Dancers) and the Georgia Callers Association. He and Joyce are charter members of Georgia Round Dance Teachers Association and the Atlanta Area Callers Association.
