Well, yesterday June 15 was Jeff and my anniversary of dating for a year.  He surprised me Friday night with what were getting to do on Saturday...here's the story:

About 9:30pm Friday night, he calls on his cell phone to say he's on the way home.  When he gets on Main Street he passes Braum's and says, ice cream sounds really good right now.  I agreed and said to bring some home.  Instead, when he got home he said come on lets get ice cream!  I was in pajamas and was kinda embarrassed to go to Braum's in pj's but his joke was at Braum's people wear worse.  Anyhow, we get outside and I'm climbing in the car and there is a cookie bouquet in the back seat of the Ford Explorer.  It has four heart shaped cookies and with the middle one decorated "Happy Anniversary Sweet Heart".

As we are driving to Braum's, he mentions that he wants to take me to Six Flags on Saturday and I thought that would be great, but I had to work.  He says, "No you don't."  I replied, "Yes I do."  After I said that, he says that he's been planning this for like 3-4 weeks now and he had already talked to Kim, and even my staff to cover the store.  Sure enough I was off from work and we were headed toward Six Flags.  I was in disbelief that he had really surprised me again.  He did something similar on my 21st birthday where I had  no clue what he was planning.

Well, Saturday morning came, and we got around and first went and watched about 45 minutes of Roland's t-ball game.  He's not too interested in t-ball the way he enjoyed soccer, but he still has fun with it.

We arrived at
Six Flags around 11am and headed toward the new Titan first.  Since Jeff and I hadn't been to the park for about two years, the new Titan ride opened a year or so ago and we hadn't ridden it yet.  Well, to say the least, we rode it TWICE.  We probably would have enjoyed doing that ride another time, but we were getting tired and ready to go home.
The order we rode the rides: (clicking on them takes you to Six Flag's website about the ride!!)

Titan
Texas Giant
Mr. Freeze
Shockwave

I have a picture of the map linked here.  (If it does not load, you do not have Acrobat Reader installed)

We also did a water ride and I don't remember the name.  It's one where 8-12 people get into a big raft looking thing and float around and well get wet.  Hence the water part.

Oh, and in the end, before we left we checked to see what one of our pictures that one of the employees of Six Flags took.  It came out nice and we decided to buy the picture and they put it in a snow globe thing.  I am going to put the date on the bottom for future reference.

The two of us were exhausted by night fall, but we had a blast and I enjoyed every minute of it.  I have pictures that I must turn in, and I think I will start getting the film back on cd or online.  It'll make them easier to post until I get a scanner.  I took a picture of the cookie bouquet also, so I think I'll start getting them back either online or cd to post faster!

Hope you all enjoyed the fabulous story!
Oh, and for Jeff, I surprised him with an Microsoft Xbox, and extra controller, and 4 games.  He couldn't believe I actually bought it, but he's happily playing as I am working on my webpage!  The xbox was his Father's Day/Anniversary Gift!

Well, on Friday I picked up my pictures from Walmart and am currently working on putting them up.  I'm setting up a photo album and you can view all of them without too much of a problem.

Jeff's parents came to visit for the weekend and Jennifer had her wedding shower today.  I wonder what she got? =)  My mom and I were invited but I had to work and with having the last Saturday off and a recent Saturday, I felt guilty to ask for another right now.

Last night five of us (Gerry, Jennifer, Lana, Greg, and I) went to Chili's in Grapevine to see Jeff's other brother Daniel.  He is working there as a waiter and was our waiter.  Jeff was working at his store at the time.
