| Thursday, June 27, 2002 Well, Jeff and I had this wild idea to get a new tv. It all began when my tv in our bedroom went out. It will come on but there is no sound. So we decided to clean the kitchen and living room and move that tv downstairs in the kitchen and hook them together. Then we got to thinking some more... We had been looking at all the different tv's and we had an idea what we wanted...larger than 29" and if we could we wanted a flat screen to help with the glare. While at Best Buy they were running specials for ALL Sony's 24" or bigger, 18 months no interest. We liked that idea. Well, we started small, then got bigger... The FIRST one we looked at... The one we REALLY liked... Jeff and I really liked them and thought that we could move the tv downstairs to the bedroom... Well, we left Best Buy and went to the movies as planned and after coming home we called the Best Buy card and got an increased. But after all of this, we decided it was really a WANT and not a need. Jeff and I both knew we would rather spend $3000 (by the time you add tv, new stand, warranty...) on carpet and floor and much more. My other thought I had was kids. I could just imagine the big tv being hit or something spilled on it and ruining it. Jeff and I agreed that maybe when we move into our next house, it would being something to consider. The 51" tv would be very heavy and a pain to move to a new house when we move and by the time we move to a new house we will have more money and more debt should be paid. So the bedroom for now will sit with an empty spot and we will dust and when we feel it is time we will go look for a smaller tv. I told Jeff that we hardly watch tv or even movies up in the bedroom. | Friday, June 28, 2002 Well, today I ended up going to the doctor rather than work. I didn't know if it was Bronchitis or something else. Well, it ended up being just an Upper Respitory Infection and the doctor gave me Zithromax which is a antibiotic to help get rid of my problem. So I ended up sleeping for most of the day. |
