This webpage is dedicated to the Marine air and ground units, soldiers and sailors who fought and sometimes died in the "Land of the Morning Calm" during the UN sanctioned "police action" in Korea.

Here I have attempted to shed light on the military life of just one of many individuals who arrived home from the one of the world's greatest conflicts, only to be called back to serve his country in a foreign land. I would like to extend a special thanks to all who have helped me in my search for information and who have freely provided information, photos, and maps for the forthcoming page. I am especially grateful to Senator John H. Glenn of Ohio for his kind words and response to my inqiries.

This website is also part of a healing process for me. I am a young man in his twenties who never met his heroic grandfather. I am searching for the men who knew him or served as he did so that they may relate their stories here for history. This webpage is a work in progress. I will gladly accept additions contributed which I feel are relevant and will acknowledge all contributors. My email address is posted throughout.
