Inu-Yasha sat against the wall in Kagome’s room. It was the new moon in the Feudal age and she had invited him back to her time. Of course, he knew her game. It was a way for her to spend more time here doing that ‘homework’ thing.
He turned up the volume on the CD player and listened to the music. At least Kagome had lent him this to amuse himself with tonight. Her little brother had been overjoyed to see him and Kagome’s mom had filled him full of food.
His ears heard a likely song and he smiled. Maybe this one...

Inu-Yasha’s ears flattened. "Fine. But with you singing it in this time..." He took a deep breath. "You’re giving away when my human time is!!"
"Oops." Kagome turned widen eyes to Inu-Yasha. "I’m sorry. But you were the one who taught it to me and you should have thought to tell me that I couldn’t sing it early. You’re so inconsiderate, Inu-Yasha. It really is a great song and-"
Inu-Yasha put his hands over his ears and ran away.
