  • MUSIC
    • Problem: Plugin needed for "application/x-mplayer2" in Firefox
      • You can download the Windows Media Player Plugin for Firefox by following the links in the message area. If you do not want to use Windows Media Player you can look into Mozplugger or maybe Mplayerplugin. We have not done any testing with these but have heard that they may work.
    • Does music require Javascript or ActiveX to be allowed?
      • It requires Javascript to toggle the sound on and off. It also checks if Internet Explorer is being used and if so, to use the bgsound tag instead of the embed tag. IE uses an ActiveX control to play Macromedia found in the embed and object tags, whereas Firefox uses plugins.
    • Is there any way to permanently stop the music?
      • Please request it as a site problem. With enough requests we will address the issue. As for now, we feel that the music enhances the feeling and mood of the slideshows, and only comes on at those times.
  • GALLERIES
    • Problem: It takes too long to load the slideshow.
      • It is preloading the images to ensure a smooth running show. If it is taking too long, feel free to turn off the automated slide shows and use the standard picture galleries. Just click on the slideshow icon in the top right part of the screen just to the left of the shopping cart.
    • Problem: The slideshow toggle button is not working.
      • You will have to enable cookies from this site for it to work. The slideshows require storing that setting in a cookie so that all galleries will be effected.
