| Continue hiking up the service road a 1/4 mile along the creek till you get to the start of the Hunter Creek Trail and into the wilderness area. The trail is starts to get difficult here. |
| For the next 1/2 mile you climb upward steeply on a narrow path on a rocky slope. |
| After and hour of hiking, you come across a lot of beaver dams in the creek. |
| The trail starts heading into a forest at about 1 & 1/2 miles into the wilderness area. |
