To add author updates, like a special notice about your latest book or something that will be coming out in a few months, you can draw attention to it by typing it up here with the banner. (or an introduction, etc). You just delete the text I have and start typing your own. If you have nothing to say and want to delete this, just highlight all of this text and then hit delete. To add it back, click just below your banner, hit enter and type, and then hit enter, if needed, to make space between the bottom horizontal line and your book entries. You don't need to hit enter to wrap the lines of text, I've coded so that is done automatically, as well as justification of the text. The font here in the CSS page is called belowtitletext. You just highlight all the text in this spot, and in FrontPage, select belowtitletext from your pull down menu (furthest one left) of CSS fonts... look for one of the fonts near the bottom of the list as that's usually where FrontPage shoves them. I used a divider here, but you can use horizontal lines like I did in the "books" page.

The site is now up. Check out how a link looks. Now just some more text to make sure that this will scroll. This page, including the banner will scroll up. This is all one page and it is in the main frame. The frame beside it is called "SIDE" and it has the navigation with all of the buttons. It won't move when you scroll this page. The "SIDE" however, will scroll on it's own if all the buttons aren't viewable on teh users screen. The main frame is scrollable in case someone has a small resolution and cannot see the whole page at once. It happens automatically. Everything on this page is in something called a "div" layer. This means I can control the width of the contents so this page doesn't get so wide that you have to scroll sideways (text running over, which is always an annoying thing). You can update by just typing on the page. You can copy & paste text to make sure you get the same font and colour (though, I wasn't trying to pick good colours, so you will probably just play around with that. anyway, enough text.
