| The profits from the handicraft program go to support the "It Is Finished" Bible Institute and Seminary in Thailand. The Thailand Mission sponsors young people to come to Chiangmai and study the Bible. In addition to Bible courses, they are also provided with the opportunity, that they oftentimes would not recieve at home, to finish their high school education and in some cases go on to study at a university level. This program has proven very successful, with students beginning to study seminary level courses. However, the recent shortage of funds synod-wide has also affected the Bible Institute. Any donations received for these products will go toward helping these students continue their education here in Chiangmai. | |||||||||||||||||
