A greater benefit than monatray profit is the Christian fellowship that this program encourages. The entirely fairly involved process of production provides multuple opportunities for fellowship and relationship-building. For new Thai Christians, "handicraft time" at the Chiangmai City Christian Community Center (C.C.C.C.C.) every week is a time of fun and fellowship, where they can join together with other Christians and get to know each other better as they help to product crafts. For the mission team, this program has provided an amazing opportunity to get to know the Bible Institute students and their families better. The families of these students, some of whom are young Christians and many of whom are not yet Christians, are involved in craft production in their home villages. |
