Hard to say
Leben
Station 2: Ausbruch und Aufbruch
Leben
Bevor mein letzter Atemzug getan ist
bevor der große Vorhang fällt
bevor die letzten Blumen auf mich fallen
will ich leben, will ich lieben, will ich sein
in dieser düsteren Welt
in dieser Zeit der Katastrophen
in diesem kriegerischen Dasein

Station 2: Outbreak and Departure
"Life"
Before I inhale my last breath
before the curtain closes
before the last flowers fall on me
do I want to live, do I want to love, do I want to be
in this gloomy world
in this time of catastrophies
in this martial existence
with the people who need me
with the people I need
with the people whom I want to learn to respect
in order to discover, to wonder, to learn
who I am, who I could be, who I would like to be
so that the days do not remain unused
so that the hours make sense
so that the minutes become valuable
when I laugh, when I cry, when I remain silent
on my journey to you, on my journey to me,
on my journey to God
whose paths are uneven, whose paths are thorny
whose paths I do hardly know
which I want to start, which I already started
which I do not wish to stop
without having seen the flowers in bloom
without having heard the murmur of a river
without having marvelled how beautiful is life
then my friend "death" can come, then I can go
then I can say: I have lived.

The Men That Don’t Fit In
Station 3: Danger and Rescue
"The men that don’t fit in"
There’s a race of men that don’t fit in,
A race that can’t stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And they roam the world at will.
They range the field and they rove the flood,
And they climb the mountain’s crest;
Theirs the curse of the gypsy blood,
And they don’t know how to rest.
If they just went straight they migt go far;
They are strong and brave and true;
But they’re always tired of the things that are,
And they want the strange and new,
They say: "Could I find my proper groove,
What a deep mark I would make!"
So they chop and change, and each fresh move
is only a fresh mistake.
And each forgets, as he strips and runs
With a brilliant, fitful pace,
It’s the steady, quiet, plodding ones
Who win in the lifelong race.
And each forgets that his youth has fled,
Forgets that his prime is past,
Till he stands one day, with a hope that’s dead,
In the glare of the truth at last.
He has failed, he has failed; he has missed his chance;
He has just done things by half.
Life’s been a jolly good joke on him,
And now is the time to laugh,
Ha, ha! He is one of the Legion Lost;
He was never meant to win;
He’s a rolling stone; and it’s bred in the bone;
He’s a man who won’t fit in.

Station 3: Gefahr und Rettung
"The men that don’t fit in"

Text: Otto Miller
Station 4: Desert experience
"We - You"
We are the flood, you are the plane.
You are the light, we are the illusion.
You are the sea, we are the stream.
We are the becoming, you, the being.
We are in need, you are the abundance.
You are the rest, we are the haste.
We are the noise, you are the silence.
You holy Sabbath, eternal rest.
You are our longing, we are the callers.
The plummet are we, the depth you.
We are the surf, you the shore.
The migration we, you are peace.
You are the peak, we the threshold.
You are life, we are death.
We are twilight, you are brightness.
You evening- and you morning red.

HERR, wie Du willst
Station 5: Gottesherrschaft
"Herr, wie Du willst"
Herr, wie Du willst, soll mir geschehn
und wie Du willst, so will ich gehn;
hilf Deinen Willen nur verstehn!
Herr, wann Du willst, dann ist es Zeit;
und wann Du willst, bin ich bereit,
heut und in alle Ewigkeit.
Herr, was Du willst, das nehm’ ich hin,
und was Du willst, ist mir Gewinn;
genug, daß ich Dein Eigen bin.
Herr, weil Du’s willst, drum hab’ ich Mut.
Mein Herz in Deinen Händen ruht.
Text: Rupert Meyer
Station 5: God’s supremacy
"Lord, how you will"
Lord, how you will, shall it happen to me
and how you will, so I shall go;
help me understand your will!
Lord, when you will, then it is time;
and when you will, I am ready,
today and in all eternity.
Lord, what you want, I will accept,
and what you want, is my gain;
enough, that I am your own.
Lord, because you want it, thus, I have courage.
My heart rests in your hands.
