Chat Transcript: September 15, 2004 - Part 4

Q: Mike of Glendale - Paul, way to stick to your guns brother and kept the gold you earned! I also thought you handled yourself with class with that classless audience. I consider you the epitome of what is right about America today, a hard worker who displayed the courage to stand by your convictions. Morgan, I believe you are the same type of guy. My question is, were you suprised Mr. Uberroth stuck up for you and secondly, how did that make you feel?
A: Paul - I wasn't surprised because the congressman Sensenbrenner helped get the support of the USOC.

Q: Carrie of San Jose - Do you guys have any other television appearances in the near future? and do you know if the RnR tour will be broadcasted on TV since it is not coming to my state?
A: Morgan - The next TV appearance we should have will be the Rock and Roll tour show playing on the Fox network sometime in late October. It should be a very exciting broadcast.

Q: Kathie of Reno, NV - How has both your successes affected your personal lives?
A: Morgan - Right now, we are very, very busy with media and the tour. So it doesn't leave much time for our personal lives.

Q: Stephanie of Quincy, MA - First, I just want to say you guys RAWK! You amaze me with your talent and determination, your kindness to your fans, and your dedication to your sport. My question to you both is, now that you've both accomplished so much, and at such a young age, what are some of your goals for the next 4 years? Thanks for reading. I wish you both nothing but the best always! =)
A: Morgan - We plan to continue training for the next Olympics. Also, we want to finish college and get a degree and maybe a master's degree.

Q: Annie of Davis, Ca - Morgan, how did it feel to win the 'box jumping' contest?
A: Morgan - It was crazy. Box vaulting championships was an event I did right after the Olympic Games where you try to leapfrog over wooden boxes that are stacked up. If you clear the boxes, another one is added on. Eventually, people don't clear the boxes and are taken out of the competition. I ended up tying the world record which was amazing. I never thought I would win that competition because it was my first time doing it. It was a lot of fun, but at the same time very scary.

Q: Giselle of Washington, DC - I've watched and taped (almost) all of your television appearances in the past few weeks! Do either of you plan to appear on any more talk shows or TV programs in the near future?
A: Paul - Yes, I'm planning to visit New York in late September, and plan to do some media there.

Q: Sophie of Washington, DC - Paul: I know that you have to testify before CAS in Switzerland on Sept. 27, so will you be back in time to perform on the Rock 'n' Roll Tour in Pittsburgh on Sept. 30? I'm traveling from Washington, DC, to see it!
A: Paul - I'm hoping to.
