Chat Transcript: September 15, 2004 - Part 3
Q: Shelly of Redding - besides family members, who are your role models and why?
A: Paul - My idol growing up was Vitaly Scherbo. He won 6 gold medals in gymanstics in the 1992 Olympics.
Q: penny of Portland, OR - What's in your cd player right now?
A: Paul - I have an iPod with many songs.
Q: Li of Elk Grove, Ca - When my friend and I are in class and we're bored, we like to text each other back and forth just to get through the class. What do you guys do during your professor's lectures when you're about to fall asleep?
A: Paul - Sleep.
Q: Kay of Sacramento, CA - of course, you guys prolly have no control over the tour stops for the rock n roll tour, but i heard that the tour might get extended, and i wanted to know if there are any new developments, and if any west coast dates have been discussed.
A: Morgan - There's a possibility of it being extended and the West coast is still being considered.
Q: Kaytie of Schaumburg, IL - Hey! You guys rock ;). So, do you enjoy taking a break from strict training to do the tour? Do you plan on being in Beijing in 2008? Thanks!
A: Morgan - Yes, this break is much needed and a great way for us to perform in front of fans throughout the country. And we are planning to go to Beijing.
Q: Jerry J. of MIlwaukee - Thanks for the pride that you brought to Wisconsin, especially Waukesha. If you were not famous celebrities right now, what would you be doing? Are the both of you comfortable with your celebrity status?
A: Morgan - I would be in school getting an education and most likely trying to become a physical therapist.
Q: Fatime Scheuer of Milwaukee - How young should children begin gymnastics? I am concerned about their muscles and bones not developing enough and injuries occuring.
A: Paul - It's good to start before the age of 10, but not necessary. I started at 7.
Q: Holly of Fort Worth - How do you balance the work of a college student and the work of a gymnast?
A: Paul - This past semester I took off of school, but previously I had to manage my time very well as it's very difficult to balance both.
Q: Alice of San Francisco - Hi Paul, Hi Morgan, I know both of you also play tennis. I do too. Are there any particular tennis players that you like to watch? And which tennis stroke would you say is your best stroke? For me, my favorite player has always been Pete Sampras, and my best stroke is my serve.
A: Paul - We actually met Andy Roddick, and always liked watching him. My forearm is my strongest.
