With degrees from McMaster University and Ryerson Polytechnical University, I have been a Corporate Buyer in the Department of Finance for the City of Hamilton, and a purchaser for the past eight years. Additionally, I am active in political issues within Hamilton, promoting activism against racism and serving as an advocate for cancer awareness. As the daughter of Cely and Bonner Villabroza, CEO and President of the Hamilton Filipino Community Centre (HFCC), I have been a continuous supporter for all Hamilton and Filipino events since childhood. Looking to engender this same passion in today�s Filipino youth, I helped to initiate the formation of the HFC. I believe in the spirit and fortitude of group collaboration, and as President of the HFC I am in support of all beneficial and positive causes that garner the agreement of the entire HFC Committee.
In life, many challenges will arise, and I firmly believe that unrelenting efforts to maintain a positive, spiritual, and healthy lifestyle are central to preserving balance and composure.
