Greetings! My name is Andrew Cabilan and I am the proud Chairman of the HFC. Being an educator in the Catholic education system, I fully understand the importance of building 'community'. I am confident that my experience as a Social director for both WFSA (Western Filipino Students Association, 1997-1998) and FILAMAC (McMaster University, 2000-2001) will help build a strong Filipino community of the 'next Generation', ushering in a new crop of individuals who will continue our heritage, values and time-honoured traditions. Through various events and social gatherings, it is our intention to construct that sense of togetherness which our founding Associations have fostered over the years. I am looking forward to meeting individuals from Hamilton and surrounding areas who share a common vision with myself and the other members of the Committee.
