Sweet Sorrow
I stand on the bridge in love with the sea
The deep rippling water calling out to me
The bridge is my comfort
The water is my fate
A whirlpool of blackness
Beckons to hate
Drowning in a sea of sorrow
I open my eyes and see no tomorrow
As I stand here in this lonely place
With fear and anger written all over my face
Where love and happiness once used to be
Hatred and fear is now all I see
Yet walking in the shadows of those before my generation
With Ignorance, hardship and anticipation
Living in a world love no longer exists
Not communicating with our hearts but most likely our fists
What would you know but this is my fate
Laughing while my emotion nibbles thier bait
But then all is still
Then there lies a single rose
Covered with her blood and woes
