Bunkering for dummies

There is an art to bunkering a person. most people just pound the guy with loads of paint to keep his head down. But, all this does is 1. keep his head down     2.Waste paint. Paintballs today at your local Wal-mart will go 500 for $13.75. Ya, sure most of there paint isn't that good but its cheap. Even at Wal-mart its about 2-5 cents a ball (prices differ). in a bunkering trigger-happy guy will go through 100-200 balls while he closes in( I've seen it happen).

The proper way to do it is a lot simpler. I have a semi-auto marker (its all u need). Ive played alot against my brother, and still I seem to alway get him bunkered. (hes still a good player). I play on private land in the woods (the best games are in the woods). We usually play ball limit game because they make you focus on Accuracy, fire-disipline (when to fire and when not to), and mainly on tactics. We play alot with a 20 ball limit. I usually dont use more that 10 balls still. only about 4-5 are used to acually try to "hit" my opponent. Hell, i don't have no fancy gun but who gives it does what it was made to do. We play Hunter/prey kinda games. One hide and one tries to find the one hidding.

When the first shots are fired we i take cover. It takes a second or more for a person to react to something they are not expecting and sometimes things they are. The Biggest factor in bunkering a guy is always stay moving, run from tree to tree even if your only moving side to side and not advancing. This prevents being bunkered (something my brother has yet to learn). On my marker, It will shoot really accurate with my barrel for about 25- 30 yards ( I mean within 6-8 inches of where you aim). the real way to bunker someone  is to use the least amount of paint neccessary. When you want to advance fast pop out behind cover (least about of body showing) and tak a 2 round burst and run like hell (make sure you know where your going beforhand) make sure you keep watching the other guy if your still running and he pops out take a 2 or 3 round burst (mabey more becuase your aim will be VERY off while you run) dont shoot anymore or you just wasting paint. The cover you run at should be about 15- 25 feet away.

This can be varied considering gun accuracy, amount of paint you wanna save or how fast you run.

Bottomlines and Scopes made easy

I have a Bottom line Co2 adapter and a red-dot scope. It's very hard at first to use a scope with a bottomline adapter. The adapter Brings the barrel up to your eye. The scope is now above your eye and useless, Until now. This  will feel awkward at first but it will work. When not useing the scope use the gun like you usually do, If you are going the use the scope either put the Co2 canister in your armpit or on your chest but not you shoulder. try it. It feels wierd and slow at first but it will get faster and easier as you do it.`

A quick lesson on not standing out

If you play in the woods and have some camo and find that you are seen alot, there are ways to fix it. First DON'T let any light sorce or sky be behind you. This will make you stand out like a sore thumb. The human eye can easily see the shape of a human body at far distances (even with camo) . Second, With out a guillie suit, there is a slim chance that you will ever let someone nearly walk on top of you and not know it. Camo is made to blend in but still it's not that effective. If you are not a sniper or don't want to get a ghillie suit, well there are some ways to help you blend in. If you are ambushing and dont have a ghillie suit then have a teammate or yourself put branches and leaves ontop of you. It will take some time to get this right. If you wanna learn from the masters, read up on how the american snipers in vietnam did it.

I've got a spyder compact deluxe with 20 oz C02 and a red dot scope. Also i got a bottomline co2 adapter. The next and last hardware would be a c02 buttblate. No barral upgrades becuase im gonna get the A-5 sometime.
