2) Why did you pick "Halo Haters" as the name for the clan? Well as a group we pretty much don't like the Halo series. It is a very unrealistic game. (We don't need realism perfection, just more than the gay level of unrealism like Halo)
3) How are the clan ranks structured? Our clan ranks follow the U.S. Army ranks. However we don't utilize the warrent officer ranks (there is one situation that we would use them, but it wont happen). For the U.S Army ranks click here.
The starting ranks in the clan are:
Commander = Captain (CPT)
Officers = Second Lieutenant (2LT)
Soldiers - Enlisted Personal = Private (PV2)
We start our soldiers at PV2 so that if they are demoted they won't be kicked from the clan, the can fall back to the no insignia rank of Private (PVT).
1) Commisoned Officers = Second Lieutenant thorugh General (4 star). However the Commander can reach General of the Army (5 star).
2) Non-commisioned Officers = Corporal (CPL) through Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA). Only one clan member can have the rank of Sergeant Major of the Army at any one time. A promtion from SMA will give that member a commision as an officer and he will achieve the rank of Second Lieutenant.
3) Soldier - Enlisted Personnal = Private (PVT) through Specialist (SPC). New members will start at the rank of PV2, like i said before, this is to prevent them from being kicked out if they are demoted. This way they just lose their insignia.
No insignia for Private (PVT)
4) How do I get promoted in this extensive rank system in place? You can recieve a promtion one of 3 ways:
Be awarded a random promotion from the promtion committee.
Rank up in Ghost Recon Advandced Warfighter 2.
Rank up in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
More detail on the three ways
Self explanatory.
You recieve a promotion at levels 1, 3, and every level after 4 in GRAW 2. That gives 26 possible promotions.
You recieve a promotion at the following COD4:MW number ranks 5, 10, 15, 20, 24, 28, 32, 35, 38, 41, 44, 47, 50, 53, 56, 59, 62, 63, 64, & 65. That gives 20 available promotions
Note: If you get in the beta that rank won't affect you at all, unless you play good and get a random promtion, it cannot get a "formula" promotion.
5) Are their any limits to the number of people who can hold the same rank at once?
In short Yes. However there are some ranks that don not have any limit on them. If the rank is given as "Rank"-"Rank" then the limit next to it is PER rank in that group. (ie MAJ-MG has a lmit of 3, however this means, 3 MAJs, 3 LTCs, 3 COLs, 3BGs, & 3MGs is the max).
6) Which games does the clan play? We will definitly play Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare when it is released. We used to have Ghiost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 as our main game and we may play it off and on still, but COD4:MW will be our main game. We are taking a short break as our commander's 360 got the Red Ring of Death and is getting repaired.
7) Does ths clan have any rules? YES! Our main rule: Purposeful Teamkilling = demotions and/or kicking from the clan. The demotion and expulsions committees will handle any demotions and or expulsions. THIS WILL DEALT WITH ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS!
8) How serious is this clan? We don't practice. We just play together and have fun. We wil ltry to play more clan matches on COD4:MW than we did on GRAW 2.
9) Do I need to change my Gamertag? No. Both the games we play have systems in place to identify clanmates. GRAW 2 has the clan logo appear instead of rank insignia and COD4:MW will have free, changeable clan tags available at rank #12 (Sergeant II). While you can really put whatever you want in it US RANGERS, Delta003, and Mortis Probati will be using SFOD. SFOD stands for Special Forces Operational Detacment.
