Halls of Ivy formed July 15, 2005 in Wisconsin. HOI is Joe Lofquist, Jon Lorbach, Johanna Ritala, and Nick Webster.
Jon Lorbach and Nick Webster are formerly of the band Blue Steam, and Joe Lofquist comes from Zero's Destiny. The inspiration finally hit and we became a band. Once we came together to make music, magic happened. Immediately songs came into fruitation. Later, we picked up Johanna to add strong vocals to the songs.
We'll strive to become a known band in our town, in the state, or entire country. We will also hopefully finish enough songs to make a CD by 2006, and appear in the Variety Show, and at a few Battle of the Bands, among other things.. But watch out for HOI, because we should impress you when you see a show!
