I like writing.
I developed my interest when I was young, about 5 or 6. The first novel I read was called "The grasses around the lake" written by Qingyao, the target readers were those secondary school students. This book was given by my mom as a gift for my 6th birthday. The writer of the book is very very famous that wherever there is Chinese, you can find her books. After reading that book, I became a fan of Qingyao, I started to collect her books. Till now, I have read all the books written by her. There was no more new publish after her most famous novel have been turned into TV series which have broadcasted in Mainland, Taiwan, HK, and most of the Southeast Asia countries.
I have joined many Chinese writing competitions since primary school. The most remarkable prize was the one in F.6 during my HKALE open exam, ie, the exam goes to universities. I spent much time on it, though finally I won the first prize among those secondary school students from all over HK, I lost my open exam!! lol~ Its really remarkable since its the competition opened to all the secondary school students, and this was the first time I have ever joined the competition outside school!
Till now I like to write when I have time, even just one sentence. I like the feeling of holding a pen and writing. Its very romantic I think, especially nowadays, what people normally do is just sitting in front of the computer and type!
