Beat the Drum opened the set and had everyone clapping immediately. And then, in rapid-fire order came: Donkey Riding When Im Up with yet another new fiddle part for me to learn. When I Am King, which the audience sang along with well, and Lukey I like the placement of Lukey here. Bob was playing a little longer than I remember for it. I miss the other solos though. My favorite whistle song came next.

Something Beautiful takes me to another realm with that whistle part. Tonight was no exception. After Something Beautiful, San stated that The next song wont be beautiful at all. And proceeded to sing The night that Paddy Murphy died was a night Ill never forget... He never got to sing the rest of the verse because the audience took over at that point. He seemed shocked, but very pleased and looked at us grinning. He then glanced at Alan and said, What the hell is going on here? Grinning, he counted down and the group launched into a raucous Paddy Murphy

San introd Shines Right Though and told about Kalem helping to write the song. I really like that song now that I know where its coming from. Previous to this point, there were some sound troubles and Bob kept asking to be turned up or down. The sound was not perfect but the vocals were good up till this point. Scolding Wife was a hoot! Alan started right out bothering Bob during his verse. Bob was trying to ignore him, making all kinds of hand motions while singing his verse. At one point, Bob turned while singing and looked Alan straight in the eye and then looked back, smiling. Alan continued bothering people, with Murray grinning broadly during his verse but holding his own. He stuck his fingers in the holes of Sans pants while San was singing and San just made all kinds of faces but didnt flub the words! Kris pretty much let Alan wreak all the havoc but his accordion was in fine form tonight unlike Philly.
