Basilica Block Party
GBS Style
Helmethead was next with Alan asking if anyone liked hockey. Big cheer ensued. Bobs vocals were the best I have ever heard. He really put a lot into his performance. I thought San was going to mess him up when he crouched down next to him as he sang, but San behaved himself for a change. Helmethead was well received and everyone played their part well in the audience.

After
Helmethead, San kept up a little hockey hockey hockey hockey chant, Starting singing Nellies its getting hot in here song, bounced around and for some reason asked the audience Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red rose? Alan then started

Consequence Free That was my theme song for the 2002-2003 school year and I sang along with abandon. San was dancing with abandon. Also took a few photos during this time since I had determined that the Security Guards didnt care. I was sorry I didnt realize that sooner. Would have loved to get Rover and GT pics. But Jaime did a bang up job of that.
Mari Mac began with Alan rapping about San. Yo yo yo, give it up for San McCann, the Shanty Man, plays the mean bodhran, from Newfoundland. Bob started out fairly slowly. But man oh man, by the time they reach the end, where you couldnt hear any vocals for the last verse, that violin was smokin as was the whole band. Everyone went flat out, as the expression was at the ECMAs.

Ordinary Days beeps made my stomach clutch because I knew it meant the end. I enjoyed it as I always do and had fun watching the band having fun. They really seemed to enjoy this show this evening. After the band left the stage, Alan stayed out for a good long time.
