I always debate what to put on this page. I started this way back in March of 2003 and have rewritten it so many times. It gets tiring but I am a Virgo; hence the perfectionism (although this site is far from perfect).

My name is Haley (which I'm sure you figured out already). I live somewhere in Colorado but if you actually read the entries, you'll see I'm in Denver. Great place. Can't say too many bad things about it except the roads suck here. Gotta be the cold weather and all. Yeah...whatever.

I'm in my mid-20's, although most days I feel like a thirteen year-old bitch. I work at a job where stress is a bedfellow of mine. Hey, after working a year with teenage sex offenders, I'm surprised I've kept all my hair. Which happens to be dyed a horrible, red, comic book heroine color (but I absolutely love it!).

Let's see...I"m random. Random in thoughts, definitely random in actions and even horribly random with my emotions. I'm a creative little dookie, self-deprecating yet so into self-love. I'm not for everyone. Trust me on that one. I actually have a warning label under my left bicep which reads, "May cause death and dismemberment...but only if you're nice to me." Honest, it's there. Ask me if you ever meet me. I don't know how it got there, really.

On most days, I'm a pretty optimistic person. But, we all do have our days and I am known to use that as an excuse for my behaviors. I take joy in the little things in life (although that does not include men with little appendages, thank you very much), enjoy sunrises (but for some odd reason I never really get to see them) and am a sarcastic and petty person (am I being self-deprecating enough for you?).

People are fun to be around but I prefer the presence of my plant, Roosevelt, to the presence of rude and annoying people. My standards are high, I'm picky (is that a sin?) and I don't make excuses for who I am. Because, when you come down to it, I'm a pretty decent girl. I volunteer my time and talents to non-profits, make sure I recycle my grocery bags and always signal when making a right on red.
