051 Date 12/10/03 Despite a gallant effort Halesowen finally bowed out of this season's FA Cup after a 2-1 defeat away at Blyth Spartans.  The home side had taken the lead through a wonder goal although Jason Ashby (pictured) grabbed his 13th of the season just before the break. Blyth grabbed the winner with a looping free-kick although were put under pressure late on with a string of attacks from the Yeltz. In transfer news this week the club has signed David Holmes from Worcester City on a one month loan and are due to talk to an unnamed midfielder later this week.
