GOAL PAVES WAY FOR CUP RUN |
Reference
047
Date 27/9/03
A late goal deep into stoppage time gave
Halesowen a 2-1 victory in a game marred by a
poor refereeing display.
Opponents Spalding had taken the lead after 37
minutes despite being down to 10 men although a
late rally with goals coming from Asa Charlton
(pictured) and Simon Hollis plus a further
dismissal for Spalding allowed Halesowen a safe
passage into the next round of the FA Cup.
In other news this week it has been revealed that
Josh Skidmore has joined Causeway United on loan.
