043 Date 16/9/03 A brace from hot-shot Jason Ashby (pictured) saw Town through to the 2nd qualifying round after a 3-2 victory over Corby Town.  The Yeltz had taken the lead through Ashby before the Northamptonshire outfit equalised through Liam Harrold. Danny Jones grabbed his first goal for Halesowen before Ashby added a third. Corby gained a consolation through Harrold. Town now travel to either Spalding or Sutton Town in the next round of the FA Cup on 27th September meaning the clash with Yate has been postponed.
