Halesowen Town boss Brendan Phillips has
added former King's Lynn midfielder Jamie March
to his squad ahead of the coming season.
March joins the club from Tamworth and will be
re-united with former team-mates Mark Hallam and
Darren Grocutt at The Grove. Jamie is a two-time
Dr Martens League winner with Nuneaton and
Tamworth respectivley. He has also featured for Hinckley,
Stevenage and Kettering amongst others.
It now appears that Lee Knight has re-signed for
Solihull Borough. Knight, who returned to the
Grove for a second spell several weeks ago, has
decided to stay put at the cash strapped Damson
Parkway outfit.
Elsewhere former Yeltz players Delton Francis,
Gary Smith (pictured) and Michael Crawford have
joined the club on trial with a view of being
permanent signings. Francis who left the club for
£30,000 in 1999 lists Kingstonian, Nuneaton
(where he worked under Phillips) and Hednesford
as his former clubs. These three will be joined
by well traveled Midland players Leon Mitchell
and Leon Blake plus a handful of others.
It also appears now that the club have signed
Mark Gayle from Solihull Borough. Gayle played
the majority of last season with Hednesford Town
and is a goalkeeper. His move however is
unconfirmed. |
