This month we take
a look at former Yeltz forward Kerry
Giddings in our "Do you
Remember?" section.

Kerry joined Halesowen during Brendan
Phillips' re-build of the squad following
relegation in the summer of 2001 from
Graham Turner's Hereford United. Giddings
had featured quite regularly for the
Bulls the previous season as they marched
to the semi-finals of the FA Trophy.
Making his debut on the 18th August 2001
the former Redditch and Pershore striker
had arguably the greatest Yeltz debut of
all time. His three stunning goals were
enough to collect a 3-0 victory over John
McGinlay's Gresley Rovers. However the
goals dried up for Giddings and he soon
lost his place to an in form Andy Jones
and eventually £1000 signing Lee Ross.
Kerry left Halesowen in December 2001 to
join his former club Stourport Swifts
after turning down an offer from Redditch
United.
