We lose track of Sara after her marriage and find her again in 1814, a 63-year-old, living with her 72-year-old husband in a Bosarp "gathus". In 1815, the two of them are lodgers in the same household where her two nieces, Anna Charlotta and Johanna Elisabeth Haggman, are staying. She dies in the summer of 1817, and it is unknown whether she ever had any children.
