Al Pacino is just too good of an actor to pass up. He was phenomenal in the Godfather Trilogy and Scarface and Heat are two excellent performances as well. Capuccino, Mochaccino, Frapuccino, Al Pacino!!!

Ben Wert is a good friend of mine. I got to know him through another friend of mine. Ben is quite the fellow. He had long hair but then he cut it! He works at Centreville. He spoke to my careers class and in exchange I gave him an Irma shirt. He is also going to Africa this January!

"Jim" Demetrios Lefkos made an indelible mark on the soccer program at the University of Toronto. As a student he played with the Varsity Blues for five years between 1964-69. During this time, the Blues were the OQAA Champions for three consecutive years and Jim was the team's leading scorer and named MVP in all three years. The team was undefeated during this time (36-0-2) and Jim set scoring records that remain today, including most goals in a game (7 goals); most goals in a championship game (6 goals); most goals in a season (27) and most career goals. For these efforts, Jim was twice named co-winner of the Charles Oster Trophy and received his Bronze T Award. He's not going to send me to the Olympics.

Now Mike Mussina. HE IS THE REASON I BOUGHT AN ORIOLES HAT!!!!!! He is also an AMAZING Pitcher, and too bad he plays for Yanks now, I liked him more when he was an Oriole. That way he could fly. He has a wicked curve ball and blazing fast ball. He is a complete pitcher. I love the squint gaze he uses when throwing, it's even in the middle picture above. Facts on Mussina: Nicknamed the Moose, 1st round draft pick in 1990. Gets paid $11 Million a year to throw a ball.

Here is Donovan Bailey. Canada's pride. Just look at the grace and class he has. I can still remember the commercial from a few years ago with him running his record setting race alongside a hotdog. Best of all the hotdog had no MSG. It was Maple Leaf Prime. See? Now THAT'S effective advertising I still remember it. It was seven damn years ago!!! But remember, there was a significant time when Donavan Bailey was Canada's National hero and proclaimed "World's fastest Man". Facts on Bailey: Wore number 1192 on his record setting race. The time of that race (at the time the fastest) was 9.84 seconds. That time now sits around 10th all time. Current 100 metre race record holder: Maurice Green. Time: 9.74 seconds.

Howie Mandel, great comedian of the 90's was the voice of Bobby in Bobby's World. Had a great show called The Howie Mandel Show, which aired weekdays at 3 PM on NBC. His monologue was hilarious. He was the daytime David Letterman. I used to watch him on vacations from school, even taped the show once in a while. He was surely a classic. Those are shows that although will never be seen again, I won't forget.

Yanni is also one of "Ares' People". He has a gift to compose great music with the piano and he has a cool mustache. You don't see that much nowadays. His work is excellent, my favorites being Aria, In the Morning Light and Trek. Yanni facts: Is Greek, is world renowned, shaves but not the moustache.

Louie Anderson. The host of "Family Feud" up till last year. One question after another the man asks. I'm surprised he was ever on television, he's way passed his peak from Life with Louie. Nevertheless he looks funny so he has earned a spot on Ares' People. And the VOICE! That show 'Family Feud' is very odd as it pits two families contesting for a small sum of money with an obese host who yells at them. By the way his voice is VERY raspy. Who wants to play the feuuuuuuddd??? He was an awesome host and can not be replaced. Now he IS replaced and although the new guy is also fat, it's not as enjoyable. He was on 4:00 on NBC back a few years ago, you guessed it, right after Howie Mandel. It was quite the NBC 1-2 Punch in the 90s.
