due to XOOM's servers being down. To avoid these

Yahoo!'s Geocities. I don't know if Geocities will be any

After setting up my Hacked GA-586HX Home Page, I've wondered if there were other "kindred spirit" websites out there. So I searched and browsed, and have come up with this small but valuable list (in alphabetical order). I'm sure it is far from complete, so if you know of any site dedicated to the fine art of hardware hacking, please email me : hackedmobo@yahoo.com.

This website is full of info and news about the Toshiba Libretto sub-notebook, and includes instructions on how to overclock it by hacking its mobo.
This personal homepage describes how to hack the GA-586DX mobo to run the K6-2 300, and it includes photos.
Noppadol's homepage describes how to modify a 430FX mobo to run the K6-2 and K6-III.
This RealWorld Technologies website has info on using the K6-III on a number of mobos; ASUS P55T2P4, FIC PA-2007, MTech R581A, and ASUS TX-97X. It also includes info on power requirements of various CPUs and the amperage capability of some "older" mobos.
You'll find info on the ASUS P55T2P4 Rev 2.x and Rev 3.x mobo here, and how to upgrade, overclock and hack it.
This site covers all the reworks required for the GA-586HX 1.5x mobo. It includes photos, a description on how to enhance the VR heatsink with a larger one, and an alternative VR rework by changing the input voltage to the VR.
The most comprehensive site I've found dedicated to the FIC PA-2007 mobo. It has info on the mobo itself, instructions on how to upgrade it, FAQs and benchmarks! It also includes some info from the experiences of its readers.
This site is about how to modify the PCChips M537DMA VX-Pro+ mobo to support the K6 and K6-2 CPUs. It includes step-by-step instructions and diagrams.
This site has info on how to upgrade and overclock the Tyan S1571 mobo. It also includes the Win95 Retail or OSR1 version of the AMDK6UPD patch.
This is THE technical resource for the GA-586HX mobo, with diagrams and pictures. It also includes a very active wwwboard discussion area that is loaded with useful info and frequented by helpful enthusiasts. I learnt most of what I know about hacking my GA-586HX from here.
