| Ibu's full name is Hanni Darwanti and she was born on the 21st of February, 1973. She was the youngest of the 2 children of Eyang Riniarti and Eyang-kung Soekrisno Martokoesoemo. IWe didn't get the chance to know about my Eyang-kung as he passed away in 1995. But from Ibu's stories we just know that he was a great father, and we are sure that he would've been a great grandfather as well. Ibu only has one older brother, PakDe Tiko who is married to BuDe Tyas,. We are very closed to them and we think that they are the GREATEST PakDe & BuDe in the whole universe!! |
| BAPAK is the common Javanese word for "Dad". Bapak's full name is Adam Armansyah. He was born on November 10, 1972 in Jakarta, being the first son of Datuk Aziz Manaf Rio and Nenek Hindun Zubaidah. Bapak has three older sisters and a younger brother. The first one is Mamah Inton and Papah Yana, who is blessed with two handsome boys, Abi & Ubay. After that comes Ibu Ita, who has 3 daughters, Anisa, Tasya & Kintan. The third sister, Bunda Maya, is married to Ayah Ryno who have 2 kids, Aliya & Raihan. Last but not least... is Bapak's youngest brother, Oom Ihsan who is now entering college.. |

| Bapak & Ibu |
| Both of Bapak & Ibu participated in the AFS student exchange program in 1990-1991. While Bapak went to spend the year with the Woodburns in Canberra, Australia, Ibu stayed with the Eriksons, who live in Weaverville, California, USA. Both had an unforgettable year (so pleaseeee.. don't ask them to write about their experience on this page, otherwise it will be a never-ending story!). At that time, Bapak was attending SMUN 8 Jakarta, and Ibu was a student of SMUN 6, also in Jakarta. Bapak & Ibu met the first time upon returning to Indonesia, when they attended a farewell get together for another batch of AFS students, in early August 1991. Love at the first sight?? Definately NO ! In fact, the impression that Ibu had on Bapak that night was not so good. They met again at a committee meeting for an AFS fund raising night. Then comes the next meeting.. and another one.. and nobody knew who started it (well, they both didn't want to take the 'blame' of being the first one falling in love, ha..ha..!), but Ibu started to see that behind that arrogant and cold smile, there was somehow a funny man with quite a warm heart. Started with the 2-door red bug (well, only 1 door functioned most of the time!), Bapak & Ibu went through quite a long and unforgettable journey together, from early 1992. They spent their time mostly commuting to school, from Jakarta to Depok.. in the beginning by train and later on by their little maroon FIAT Uno, B 2930 RK. In 1996, Bapak graduated from the faculty of economics with a major in marketing management at the University of Indonesia and Ibu graduated in late 1997 from the faculty of social & political sciences at the same university, majoring in international relations. |
