About Us

The workshops are conducted by Uma Oza and Valentina Trivedi.

Uma has a rich experience of sixteen years of formal teaching in educational institutions across the country. She has conducted workshops for NIE on various subjects, and worked for ARC (Actions for the Rights of the Child) a city-based forum of NGOs and government agencies. She was the Adolescent Education Programme Consultant for SWATI (Society for Women’s Action and Training Initiative) a Gujarat based NGO where she developed the entire literacy programme as well as selected and trained teachers. 

Valentina, with her flair for creative writing, worked first as a scriptwriter with UTV and later as a senior copywriter with the advertising agency R.K.Swamy BBDO. Dramatics has also been a passion with her through school and college and she honed her acting skills by attending Mr. Satyadev Dube’s and Mr. Om Katare’s workshops in Bombay.
