July 8, 2001 Jay was hit by a minivan while riding his motorcycle. He sustained serious injury, losing his right leg below the knee. 6 days after he was released from the hospital he went back to tattooing to keep his mind off the recent misfortune.Since then he has begun to walk again with the aid of a prosthetic. Jay has also attended and worked several conventions across the country since the accident. |
