Women of the Carvan
Clotilda -" Musicain" Tamboring [ only female musicain]
She is a strong female liberalist especially for her time. She is not obediant to any authorites that do not think them her equal. She longs to be with her best friend, Dominic who she spends most of her time with, but she can not stand his zealous and egotistical manner. Always believing that all are 'equal but different', she can not stand it when people are mistreated and is known to free people from the stocks on her way through town. Really a flower on the inside she comes across as demanding and aggressive. Wanting to be thought of as a lady and to be noblity she is never satisfy with the poor Gypsy life.
Mesoneralla- " Lead Dancer"
She is by far the best of her game. Otherwise known as a tramp she has caused the bands fame and brings in the most tips. She has the ablity to make any man drool and any woman to want to rip her hair out. Her dance is like watching the serpent charm the mouse. She does not go without a brain, she is both cunning and at times respectful; rarely hitting on the married men of the band, but everyone else is fair game. She and Vicaralla have been growing close, exspecially after Andrae'a's disappearance. They would gladly give their lives for one another.
Lisette-" Dancer"
Her jealousy of Mesoneralla runs wild and shows when off the stage. She has always wanted the spotlight and has never understood her younger sister's, Ekatherina, admiration of the tramp. However she only plays her negative side toward Mesoneralla...and any one else she feels prettier than she. Perhaps this reaction is a different kind of way to show her ego.Living to dance she almost does nothing else save for working with animals who she as a unusal gift with. She as given herself the job of caregiver to the band's horses. She has the ablity to calm any wild breast as Mesoneralla can any man.
Ekatherina-"Dancer/Singer"
She is as beautiful as Mesoneralla but her shyness keeps her from flanting it. Her stage fright melts away once she begans to dance but getting her on stage is like getting Mesoneralla off it. Longing to be as open and carefree as Mesoneralla she makes sad attemps to be flirtatious, especially toward Ezekiel. A hopeless romantic she writes poems and sings ballads with an angel's voice. She is humble but strong willed, and always willing to help a soul in need.
